Oroborositron or The Eternal Creation Machine

Humans are amazing idea generators. I'd go so far as to call them eternal creation machines. In this blog I plan to focus on stating and elaborating ideas I've had in the past and continue to have in the present, post by post. In doing so, if I inadvertently step on intellectual property, note that it stems from ignorance and not malice. Here are some ideas I'll potentially go into in subsequent posts.

1. Car Windshield AR Game -> Detects road, projects other cars / people / zombies / buildings / etc on it and you shoot at them and watch them blow up using hand gestures in 3D space. Cross hair on windshield controlled by finger tracking of gun shaped gestures. Needs projection on windshield, Hand gesture recognition (Leap? Kinect? Camera?) and road detection using camera.
2. SoundBored as truly portable with Leap / Myo / Kinect / Cellphone Camera + Pico Projector + Cellphone App
3. SafeTiles / SmarTiles -> Intelligent Floor Tiles that detect fall through Kinect / Myo / Video Camera and change to soft bouncy tiles
4. Metal Music Generator using ML Mining and CBR + Genetic Algorithms (for Rhythm variations within reason). Using JFugue.
5. Drawing controls music generation. Using JFugue.
6. Two Player Exergame Kinect game as platformer (Mario?) with competitive component and aim to get to the princess and get most points. Kinect control as dummy controlled by Kinect joints.
7. Gait sensor controlled Floor Tile Airbags for fall protection. They have small holes with covered holes and covers on a string through which the air bag blows up. The tile can have replacable over tiles that sit on top of the hollow smart tie system for different flooring styles.
8. Kinect Visually Impaired Navigation Aid - Using distance Segmentation and maybe separate face recognition. Open Question: How do they interact???
9. Make an android eDrumKit from hell using the table drumming idea and adding midi export using fugue.
10. Music generation with mood elements. - Do research.
11. Anti Corruption / Whistleblower's Mobile App For RHoK 2011 Dec - Use videocam/still cam in silent mode for proof, audio recording, Stream upload content automatically to site for safe storage against threats, site has corruption reporting, corruption map, insurance policy information forwarding to prevent threats, Add all details needed for a successful case (consult a lawyer). Toll free number number to report corruption or to be kept online as audio streaming in cases of no net connectivity/basic phone. How to keep junk/mms/etc from landing on servers?
12. Table Drummer app where it checks different pitches of sounds made by your fingers and machine learning (for beat likeliness due to random pitch/velocity differences) to classify the hit as a kind of instrument hit and accent support
13. Automated BitTorrent Client Hooks into IMDB to get all movies of certain genre or rating or combination of all filters. Learns from previous feedback. Automatically searches comments for good feedback or keywords like DVDRip, BDRip, etc. Web Spider obviously to crawl torrent sites OR for simplicity use single Torrent Aggregator/MetaSearch Engine.
14. Watch/Smartphone/PDA/etc + Glasses Monitor + Projected Keyboard + OLED Rollout Display + Networked Computing Units for Speedup With Add Ons
15. Networked Computing Units = Ubiquitous Computing: Walk around and our semi dumb terminals on us connect to whatever computing units are within range… 2 Approaches small addable units or mega addable unit where computing as a service…
16. Modular Computing Units - Having independent, modular computing devices that can connect together at the processing hardware level to double in speed, CPU threads for execution, RAM, etc. Also displays would extend, ports would extend, etc. Dynamically reconfigurable distributed computing?
17. Social trends music creation… Depending on what people are playing and training it, it learns styles and plays them

Air drumming with force feedback… MegaVibe + Gyro Sensor + Accelerometer = Faster you hit, more feedback… Has virtual component drums that are simply regions in space but can be seen with glasses – VR in effect. - OR have user train kit about location of various drums. Execute a drum pattern and calculate extent of drum. Rest is Kinect magic.

20. Water desalination using floating, ocean-based units powered by solar and tidal energy.
21. Beaming power to earth using weather balloons? satellites? floating solar panels / wind turbines? Connected to earth via long power cables? Collect solar heat and focus on terrestrial solar heated power plant?
22. Large scale carbon removal from the atmosphere / oceans using solar and tidal energy and sale of carbon for graphene electronics.
23. Bird simulator using kinect and Oculus Rift. Simulate flying, gliding, flapping wings, thermals, etc. Add beautiful world generation for complexity.
24. Survival horror game using Kinect + Oculus Rift. Kinect perched on top of Oculus Rift as a way to get point cloud scanned into Unity Engine. Use limitations of Kinect resolution and distance to aid horror / fear / uncertainty aspect of game.
